Aditya Agarwal is a partner (SPC Foundation) at South Park Commons. He is a member of the advisory board of Eightfold.ai. He was CTO and VP of Engineering at Dropbox, where he grew the engineering team from 25 to 1,000 people. Before Dropbox, Mr. Agarwal co-founded Cove, which created state-of-the-art collaboration software. Before Cove, Mr. Agarwal was one of Facebook’s first engineers. He helped build the first versions of key products such as Search, NewsFeed and Messenger. He then became Facebook’s first director of product development, overseeing the development of products such as NewsFeed, Profile, Groups and Events. Mr. Agarwal serves on the board of directors of Flipkart, India’s leading e-commerce company, the Carnegie Mellon School of Computer Science and the Anita Borg Institute. He is also an active investor and advisor to Silicon Valley startups. In his spare time, Mr. Agarwal enjoys listening to techno music, reading, traveling, and most of all, spending time with his three-year-old child. Mr. Agarwal holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University.
