He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently an entrepreneur and programmer, CEO and co-founder of Textline, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) text messaging platform specializing in customer service. Prior to Textline, Mr. Braverman co-founded several Internet software companies, including the genealogical social network Geni (acquired by MyHeritage) and its corporate social networking subsidiary Yammer (acquired by Microsoft). He previously co-founded Mollyguard Corporation, a payments software studio that launched Xoom (IPO NASDAQ 2013, acquired by PayPal in 2015) and Eventbrite (IPO NYSE 2018). Previously, Mr. Braverman did web programming at Silicon Graphics, eGroups and Yahoo!
