Bob Pasker is an executive at Tengah. He has been building successful technology companies and products for more than 25 years. His deep understanding of software, hardware and the networking industry has led him to design and develop numerous innovative, award-winning products, including WebLogic, where he was a founding member as well as chief developer and chief application server architect of WebLogic. At Kenamea, Bob was a pioneer in the real-time Internet and AJAX when he developed one of the first Internet pub/sub and Rich Internet Application systems in 1999. At Tribe Computer Works, he led the team that developed the first embedded web-based device management system. Bob has also held management positions at Azul Systems, BEA Systems (now Oracle) and Digital Equipment. As a technology consultant, he advises start-up hardware and software companies on the development and implementation of long-term business strategies and makes recommendations on product development, fundraising, sales, marketing and business development. Bob has been an active angel investor for 10 years (including Mint.com, which was sold to Intuit for $170 million in September 2009) and a Techstars NYC mentor. He also served as CTO Resident and Venture Advisor at Azure Capital Partners from 2006-2010. Bob is a Phi Beta Kappa cum laude graduate of San Francisco State University, and holds a master’s degree from Brown University.
