Brent Hoberman

Brent Hoberman co-founded and serves as Executive Chairman at Founders Factory. He is a co-founder of Founders Academy. He is also a co-founder and board member of Grip. He is also co-founder and managing partner and executive chairman of Firstminute Capital. He is also founder and chairman of Founders Forum, a series of annual intimate global events for today’s leading entrepreneurs and tomorrow’s rising stars. He has also served on the advisory board of L1 Technology. He is a co-founder and board member of Made.com, a direct-from-the-factory homeware retailer in the UK. He previously co-founded and served as chairman of the Made.com board of directors. He is a co-founder of Smartup.io. In 2009, he co-founded the PROfounders Capital fund. In April 1998, he co-founded lastminute.com, which was sold to Sabre in 2005 for $1.1 billion. He sits on the advisory board of LetterOne Technology (a $16 billion investment fund) and the UK government’s Digital Technology Advisory Council. He is a former board member of The Economist Group and TalkTalk PLC. He is a YGL ambassador and the Prime Minister’s Ambassador for Business Trade. In 2015 he was honored by CBE in the New Year’s Honors List. He is the co-founder and chairman of Karakuri. He is an advisor to Tamoco.
