Daniel Rosensweig serves as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chegg. He is a member of the board of directors of Adobe Systems. He has also served as a strategic advisor to GSV Ventures. He has served as a senior advisor to TPG. He served as president and CEO of ZDNet. Mr. Dan Rosensweig is a co-founder of Colgate’s Entrepreneurs of New York Fund. Dan Rosensweig, a tireless advocate for improving learning outcomes, joined Chegg to disrupt the $1 trillion fragmented U.S. education market. Leveraging Chegg’s popularity with students, Dan and his team have turned Chegg into a force for positive and sustainable change in higher education. As chairman and CEO of Chegg, Dan commits the company to its mission of putting students first and helping them save time, money and become smarter. Under Dan’s leadership, Chegg has become a student center, a learning platform that connects people who want to learn with the tools and resources to accelerate their educational goals and improve their outcomes. Prior to Chegg, Dan also served as CEO of Guitar Hero, COO of Yahoo! and CEO of ZDNet. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, NY. When Dan is not attending a Springsteen concert or spending time with his wife and two daughters, he serves on the board of trustees of Colgate University, the boards of Adobe Systems, Rent-the-Runway, Birchbox, Fender Guitars and the advisory board of the nonprofit organization DonorsChoose.org. He has served on the board of directors of Reputation.com.
