Darren Bechtel

Darren Bechtel is the founder and Managing Director of Brick & Mortar Ventures. He is a member of the board of directors of HoloBuilder. Hal is a founder and Managing Director at Brick & Mortar Ventures. He is on the board of directors of Curri and Connect Homes. He is an observer on the board of directors of Levelset. He is on the board of directors of FieldWireLabs and EverCharge. On the Brick & Mortar team, he has more than 7 years of experience in engineering, product design and architecture, construction management, and more than 8 years of venture capital investment experience as founder and managing director of South Park Ventures. A Stanford-educated engineer and MBA, he maintains close ties to Stanford’s young entrepreneurial community as founder and developer of Soma CoLab, a San Francisco-based co-working space and incubator for Stanford alumni. He serves on the boards of six startup companies and is a technology innovation advisor to Bechtel Group, a global leader in design, construction and project management.
