Elizabeth Weil is the founder and partner of Scribble Ventures. Prior to founding Scribble Ventures, Ms. Weil spent four years as Managing Director at 137 Ventures, working on late-stage secondary projects. She is a member of Certn’s board of directors. She was a partner at Andreessen Horowitz while the company was scaling and an executive at Twitter as the company grew from 50 to 2,500 people. She also worked as an investor at IVP, Menlo Ventures and Radar Partners. During that time, she made more than 100 technology investments at all stages, including Slack, SpaceX, Coinbase, Thrive Cash, Tala, Gusto, Fast, Figma, Digits, Envoy, Grab Taxi, Rival, NimbleRX, Daily.co, MOJO, Actuate, Hipcamp, Run The World and Calm. After a long career in all phases of venture capital, Ms. Weil founded Scribble Ventures to be able to work directly with founders in the early stages and build companies in a way she can be proud of. She understands that energy and optimism can be the most important capital of all, and brings boundless, infectious enthusiasm to every founder and company. She is a super connector and matchmaker, and specializes in helping companies hire and build rounds. Ms. Weil graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and an MS in Engineering.
