Eric Chin

Eric Chin serves on the board of directors of DataStax. He is a partner at Crosslink Capital. He has served on the boards of PowerToFly, DataStax, Armoryand Feedback Loop and Descartes Labs, TakeLessons, Molekule, Step, Alpha and Kinetic. He is a board observer for True&Co. He joined Crosslink in 2010 and focuses on Internet, software and cloud infrastructure companies. He leads Crosslink’s Capital Seed program and is co-founder and president of alpha, an entrepreneurial networking club of over 500 founders and CEOs. He has years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and venture capital investor. He was a member of the board of directors of NodeSource. Prior to Crosslink, he was a partner at Artiman Ventures and Bay Partners in Internet and software investments including OpSource (NTT), Invensense (INVN), InterAct and Dropcam. His startup experience includes co-founding WebSpective (INKT), an Internet server software company, and co-founding TelASIC Communications (MTI). In addition, his experience includes business development at Mainspring (IBM) and at MILCOM (Military Commercial Technologies), where he sourced and commercialized next-generation technologies from military, aerospace and defense labs.
