He then co-founded Odeo and Obvious Corp, which gave birth to Twitter in 2006. He was a co-founder, lead investor and former CEO of Twitter. Twitter has become one of the most used sites on the Internet, with more than 280 million people logging into the service every month and sending half a billion tweets every day. In 2011, along with Obvious Ventures advisors Beez Stone and Jason Goldman, he relaunched Obvious Corp and began investing in and incubating startups. He has invested in Branch (acquired by Facebook), mobile life coaching service Lift, plant-based protein maker Beyond Meat and home appliance maker Nest (acquired by Google). He is also an angel investor.
