John Richards

John Richards is an angel investor. He is the co-founder and co-managing partner of BoomStartup. He is also the founder and CEO and Managing Partner of Startup Ignition. He has made over 200 angel investments. He is a member of the board of directors of Circlefive. Previously, he was chairman of the board of EnticeLabs. He was president of a publishing company in Seattle, WA for several years and then had a background in InfoSpace, which went from zero to an initial public offering on the NASDAQ stock market. He is an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in entrepreneurship and venture capital finance at the Marriott School of Management and the School of Technology.
