Kevin Lin

Kevin Lin is COO of Twitch, the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers. Since graduating from Yale in 2004, Lin has worn a variety of hats. In 2008 he joined Justin.tv as COO where he was instrumental in the launch of its Twitch platform. His role included attracting the site’s larger partners and building out the partnership team among other activities that have helped grow the Twitch brand. More than 50 million gamers gather every month on Twitch to broadcast live video, watch and chat about gaming, making the platform an industry leader.
Twitch, a place for gamers to share their experience with a vast online audience, did so well that Amazon bought it in 2014. Now Lin is entertaining offers for new businesses including from Taiwan. Lin is among 11 young entrepreneurs who created companies with a market value of more than US$10 billion, as evaluated by the Taiwan government’s Asian Silicon Valley Development Plan.
