Russell Siegelman

Russell Siegelman is an advisor at BipSync. He has served on the board of directors of Razorgator. Mr. Siegelman serves as an angel investor at Spinwire. Mr. Siegelman invests in consumer and energy technology and markets including software, e-commerce, web services, semiconductors, consumer systems, media and telecommunications. He has served on the boards of NEOS GeoSolutions, Digital Chocolate, Friendster, Lilliputian Systems, and Quorum Systems. Mr. Siegelman also led KPCB’s investment in WildBlue Communications and serves on the board of Sustainable Conservation. At Microsoft, Mr. Siegelman helped launch LAN Manager, Microsoft’s first network operating system, and then was the marketing manager responsible for Windows for Workgroups. Before Microsoft, Mr. Siegelman was a software engineer who wrote artificial intelligence applications for the financial services industry at Applied Expert Systems. Mr. Siegelman received a bachelor’s degree in physics from MIT in 1984 and an MBA from Harvard University, where he was a Baker Fellow in 1989.
