Ryan Holmes is a co-founder and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hootsuite. Mr. Holmes is a co-founder of LOI Venture. He has also served as an advisor to Chirpify. He has also served on the board of directors of Foodee. He also co-founded Tagga Media and served as director of technology. He has served as an advisor to Procurify Technologies. He is on the board of directors of Mobio Technologies. He is also an advisor at Mobio Technologies. He has served as an advisor to Braze. Mr. Holmes is a co-founder of Brightkit. He grew HootSuite from a small startup into a global social media leader with 6 million users, including 79 Fortune 100 companies. After dropping out of college, he founded a paintball company and a pizza restaurant before founding Invoke Media, the company that developed HootSuite, in 2009. Today, Holmes is an authority on the social business revolution, being quoted in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal and invited to speak at TEDx and SXSW interactive conferences. As an angel investor and advisor, he mentors startups in Canada and around the world. Through HootSuite University, Holmes works with leading universities to teach courses on social media to the next generation of business leaders. He is an angel investor.
