Solugen has secured a conditional commitment for a $213.6 million loan guarantee from the U.S. Department of Energy to support its Bioforge Marshall facility. This new 500,000-square-foot plant in Minnesota will produce bio-based chemicals from corn sugar, replacing petroleum-derived products. Additionally, Solugen is partnering with Kurita America to develop carbon-negative products for industrial water treatment.
