April Underwood

April Underwood is a co-founder of #Angels. She founded and served as CEO of Nearby. She has also served as a venture partner at Obvious Ventures. She is also an advisor to Passport. Previously, she served as chief product officer at Slack Technologies. Prior to that, April was Chief Product Officer at Twitter, where she led the rational management of advertising and data products, created foundational products such as the Tweet button and Twitter API, and scaled Twitter’s business development team from the ground up. She has also worked at Travelocity, Apple, Google and Climate Corp. She holds a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
