Prior to joining Booz, he was a senior engineering manager at Tandem Computers, Inc. where he led product development strategy as well as computer subsystem hardware and software development. He holds an MBA cum laude from the University of Michigan and a BS in Engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He led Apex’s investments in Illumitex and Suniva. He previously served on the boards of BrightCloud (acquired by Webroot), Initiate Systems (acquired by IBM), Informative (acquired by Satmetrix), Integrated Chipware (acquired by Serena), EVS (acquired by First American) and SiliconBlue (acquired by Lattice Semiconductor). He is an advisory board member of Spiral Sun Ventures. He has served as an advisor to Hyde Park Venture Partners.
